Organizations that have a well-established wellness program have reduced health care costs, improved retention, reduced absenteeism, increased productivity, improved safety, happier employees, and a higher return on investment. When interviewing for a position go beyond asking about health benefits and find out the organization’s philosophy on wellness and their plans to become a healthier community.
