Virtual Team Leader Support reflected the week on how closely St. Leonard’s mission, Vital Life’s Mission, and the Studer Group philosophy align. All of these supporting agencies stress gratitude and they stress listening to the human being in their environment. This calls upon us to take action in a systematic and methodical way. Keeping the organization well and keeping the members independent is a daunting task, but with models to help us stay focused, we can discover one more way to show reverence, one more thing to make service more efficient, and one more way to lower health care cost, and be good stewards of our resources.
Mission Comparison:
St. Leonard:
Responding to the Gospel of Jesus, St. Leonard assists seniors of all faiths to achieve their highest level of independence
Studer Group: Helping Healthcare Organizations Thrive in an Age of Change.
Studer Group® works with over 800 healthcare organizations in the U.S. and beyond, teaching them how to achieve, sustain, and accelerate exceptional clinical, operational, and financial outcomes. We help set them up to be able to execute quickly. And with the rapid changes occurring in our industry due to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act ushering in the pay-for-performance era, this ability has never been more critical.
As the metrics our industry publicly reports get expanded—and as reimbursement is increasingly tied to these results—organizations are forced to get progressively better at providing top quality care with fewer dollars. We help our partners install an execution framework called Evidence-Based Leadership SM (EBL) that aligns their goals, actions, and processes. This framework creates the foundation that enables them to transform the way they provide care in this era of rapid change
