Did you know St. Leonard offers Rapid Return Rehab at our Health and Rehab Center? We are so proud of our Rapid Return Rehab program at St. Leonard. We offer a newly renovated and expanded Therapy Gym with advanced equipment. Ten full time therapists from Functional Pathways Therapy Company provide all therapy onsite. The team is headed by Tamara Manor, a therapist with 27 years of experience. Consider a short stay in one of our luxury rehab rooms after a planned surgery or unexpected hospital visit. Our team provides Physical Therapy (includes strengthening, gait training, neuro-muscular re-education, balance and coordination, pain management and family / patient education), Occupational Therapy (includes fine motor skill training, self care retraining, cooking, medication management, finance management, home management training, conservation techniques, adaptive equipment training, and wheelchair mobility, ) and Speech Therapy (includes treatment for swallowing problems, speech and language, voice, and cognition and memory). Our therapists work with your Doctor and nursing staff to manage your pain with advanced treatment modalities. Our therapists can coordinate a home visit shortly before discharge to help you plan your arrival home. They will assist you to ensure you can navigate throughout your home while providing recommendations for furniture placement and placement of adaptive equipment to allow the safest environment possible. The therapist will assist you in acquiring any adaptive equipment you may need personally and for your home. We are very excited to report that this past month we sent 12 clients home after utilizing our Rapid Return Rehab Program. Did you know St. Leonard offers Out Patient Therapy on our campus? St Leonard now offers Out Patient Therapy in our Therapy Gym located near the Administrative offices . Out Patient Therapy is open to anyone on campus or the greater community. Our therapists from Functional Pathways provide Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. Our Therapy Gym offers state of the art equipment – treadmills, elliptical, bikes, free weights, Nu steps and a Nautilus machine. Advanced pain management techniques are frequently used as an adjunct to your therapy. While most insurance companies cover Out Patient therapy, our therapists will work with you and your insurance company to verify and maximize your benefits.
