It is essential when building bone density that a person realize that bones are living tissue. Bones contain nerves, blood vessels, and marrow, and they provide structural support for the body's muscles and ligaments. To keep bones strong or to strengthen them after a period of being sedentary requires proper nutrition and exercise. Exercises such as walking, cycling, climbing stairs, and resistance training are types of exercises that promote bone health, especially when combined with aerobic and flexibility training. Of course, when bones are fragile diet and exercise should be monitored by professionals in the field so that progression is safe and gradual. |
