Daily stretching can do wonders for your flexibility. The best time to stretch is gently before and after a workout. The muscles and connective tissue become less elastic if not stretched routinely. Some of the many benefits of stretching are that it helps to accommodate the movement and stresses that exercise and daily activities place on the skeletal and muscular system, and stretching enhances blood supply as well as nutrients to the tissues.
