Team Assisted Care: Karaoke!

A big group of Assisted Care Residents come to Karaoke. Everyone enjoys singing along with the words printed on the big screen TV. This week one resident kept saying, "I really like this”!

Team A/L: Dayton Doll Study Club!

On a bright afternoon in June the traditional Assisted Care residents were graced with the presence of the Dayton Doll Study Club. Kathleen Spoon and club members had a wonderful display of old dolls and gave the names and histories of each one holding the interest of all present. This brought back many memories to the residents, who also brought in some of their own dolls, which have been kept these many years.

Team Assisted Care: Laughter!
"Laughter is the Best Medicine!" as one of the residents always voices. It truly is and these residents are really getting into it. Our little friend is voice-activated and keeps on laughing, even rolling over with laughter at times. It is so much fun! ~Submitted by Sister Christine Doerger~

Team Markey and Team Assisted Care: Celebrate!
Tuesday, November 29th, brought residents and St. Leonard staff flocking to the 3rd floor Activities Room for a real Hawaiian celebration for Ann (Pencil) and David Markey who, not long ago, were wed in Hawaii. Ann Markey RN, is the director of Assisted Living. Good Hawaiian fruits and snacks, slide show of Hawaii, and fun were experienced by all. |

Team Assisted Care: Food Pantry Service Project-Occupational Wellness!
St. Leonard's Assisted Care enjoy filling tissue boxes with plastic bags to give to the Food Pantry for those who could use such bags. Forty-four boxes were filled this week as can be seen as two residents proudly gathered them together.
