Training like an athlete means that your exercise plan has the most basic element of fitness, which is consistent exercise. The human body thrives on movement, exercise, and socialization. Concerning the recommendations for consistent exercise the U.S. Surgeon General has established these guidelines:
Be physically active. It is recommended that Americans accumulate at least 30 minutes (adults) or 60 minutes (children) of moderate physical activity most days of the week. Even greater amounts of physical activity may be necessary for the prevention of weight gain, for weight loss, or for sustaining weight loss.
What is moderate training? Moderate training is considered to be 10% above the level that your body has already adapted concerning your present physical fitness level.
