Team St. Leonard Foundation: Building on Compassion

On April 11, 2012, St. Leonard Foundation hosted special guests Heidi Jark of Fifth Third Foundation and Steve Petitjean of Fifth Third Bank for a tour and lunch. Ms. Jark stewarded a generous $50,000 grant in 2011 from “Jacob G. Schmidlapp Trusts, Fifth Third Bank, Trustee” for St. Leonard Foundation’s Building on Compassion Campaign. St. Leonard Foundation extends sincere thanks to Fifth Third Foundation for supporting the vision of the San Damiano Residence, expanding compassionate services to older adults in St. Leonard’s new memory support center.

Vital Life Stories!

from Jill Harris-Director of Development

Vital Life offers a unique filter through which to view our role of promoting philanthropy at St. Leonard. Our St. Leonard Foundation team believes in the “joy of giving”, and now we can understand through Vital Life how feeling good about helping others can actually be a step to staying healthy.

As Foundation staff and volunteers, we witness daily people who are choosing to give to this community, and in the process, growing their own Intellectual, Emotional, Social, and Spiritual well-being. Gifts given will enhance options for residents in the areas of Physical, Environmental, Nutritional, and Occupational endeavors. St. Leonard Foundation is honored to contribute to St. Leonard’s Vital Life initiative!
