Dr. Vasiliu Celebration!

On January 24^th Dr. Vasiliu was honored at  a dinner organized by his Nurse Practitioner Coca Anghelache.  The dinner was a celebration of Dr. Vasiliu’s nomination of “Medical Director of the year” through AMDA  (American Medical Director’s Association). Dr. Vasiliu received a professionally bound album including all of the letters written on his behalf by many St Leonard managers, clinical staff, and various professionals  that he works closely with.  Dr. Vasiliu has been the Medical Director at St. Leonard since 1998.  He directs the care for nearly all of our residents in the Health Care Center, Assisted Living, and San Damiano Residence. We enjoyed a lovely dinner celebrating his lifetime of service to senior adults. Submitted by Aileen Jones, Administrator

Team Caring Hearts: Occupational Wellness!

Once a month, Dr. Anton Vasiliu's office partner, Dr. Meenakshi Patel presents an educational topic at a local restaurant and hosts dinner. On Tues, 14 nurses from SL HCC went to McCormick and Schmidt to hear Dr. Patel speak. The dinner was spectacular and the lecture was geared towards Dementia Care in Long Term Care Facilities. It was a great evening networking with nurses from the other facilities Dr. Vasiliu and Dr. Patel are on staff at.
